I am also a member of the American Academy of Critical Care Nurses, who certified me as a Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) prior to becoming a nurse practitioner. I also earned certifications in Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

Philosophy of medicine: I believe medical decisions should be made with the patient's full picture in mind, including lifestyle, personal goals, and clinical context. I aim to optimize health through sustainable lifestyle changes first, meeting the patient where they are, and using medication thoughtfully when necessary. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, I spent my career in ICU nursing where I saw how big of an impact the decisions we make today have on our long term health and wellbeing.
